Community Roundtable Session II

The Iranian Canadian Congress is delighted to be presenting the second of its Community Roundtable Sessions on Sunday, December 10th 2017, at Room 3 of the North York Civic Center.

Session 2: How could we, Iranian Canadians, uphold our interests within the greater society?

This event will be broken down to three parts:

1. Experts Panel
2. Community/Members Panel
3. Question & Answer

Part 1 (~30 - 45 min): one or few experts and professionals will be invited as panellists to speak in regards to the topic of the session. The time allocated for this part will be divided equally between the panellists.

Part 2 (~70min): Five to Seven interested community members will be given 10 minutes each to provide their comments, questions, or concerns with respect to the topic of the session. At the end, 10 minutes will be reserved and divided between the speakers equally to share their closing remarks or comments with respect to fellow speakers' comments.

** Speakers in part two of the session are required to submit a summary (max 200 words) via the following online form to the session's facilitator: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd1R99c9cGZFKiHjGcqLwrr0a8-eURrJ5zATGQMpkvAKlDUfg/viewform?usp=sf_link

The facilitator will make sure the comments are diverse, on topic, and bounded in time limitations of the session. Presentations can be in Farsi or English. There is also an option of sending the whole video of the presentation if you live outside Toronto.
You could send your questions about the format to speak as a panelist to [email protected] or the facilitators.

The Public Relations Department of the Iranian Canadian Congress will publish a complete version of the videos within one week after the session and publish it on the Youtube channel of the ICC. Should individuals attending wish not to be recorded, they can inform us via email: [email protected] prior to the event, or at any time during the event.
