Please find attached the letter that the ICC's Policy Chair Pouyan Tabasinejad wrote on behalf of the Iranian Canadian Congress to the Toronto Sun protesting a discriminatory and irresponsible piece by Sun contributor Candice Malcolm. Toronto Sun published this letter on March 16, 2017. 

On Feb 9, 2017 the ICC’s President, Bijan Ahmadi, and Policy Chair, Pouyan Tabasinejad, appeared before the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade to present the concerns of the ICC regarding the proposed “Non-Nuclear Sanctions Against Iran Act” or bill S-219. 

Vancouver Sun published a defamatory op-ed by Douglas Todd on December 31, 2016. Here is the complaint letter from the ICC Board to the Editor in Chief of the Vancouver Sun regarding this op-ed:

هیات مدیره کنگره ایرانیان کانادا با ارسال نامه ای به سناتور اندره پریت Andre Pratte به سخنان 27 اکتبر او در سنای کانادا اعتراض کرد.
در این نامه آمده است: 

ICC and Majid Jowhari went to Vancouver for the first time on the 10th of December 2016 to discuss multiple local and national issues of Iranian Canadians. 

ICC managed to set up its first local in Vancouver (2nd populated city in terms of Iranian-Canadians) during and after this event.
