Dear Friends,
We stand today with heavy hearts mourning the lives lost in the recent heinous acts of violence and terrorism in Tehran. These saddening and heartbreaking attacks have left millions of Iranians worldwide in agonizing pain. Acts of terrorism in any part of this world, with any and all intentions and purposes; is in its innate nature against humanity, morality, and global-unity, and is to be strongly condemned. In the face of this tragic and devastating event, it is more than ever imperative and essential for us to stand together as a community; united and strong, sharing our compassion, empathy, and connectedness; sympathizing with the grief-stricken families who have lost their loved ones. With great dismay we extend our most heartfelt sympathies and condolences to our fellow Iranians across the globe.
With un-shattering resilience in the face of this adversity let us unite together for peace. We have organized Candlelight Vigils for Victims of Tehran Attacks in Toronto and Vancouver. Here are the details:
