Changes in Our Program

In light of the recent protests in Iran and the deaths of approximately 21 fellow Iranians during these protests the Board of Directors of the Iranian Canadian Congress has decided to cancel the comedy show by Max Amini for Simorgh Gala 2018.

New Performers

We will have two amazing Iranian-Canadian bands performing at the Simorgh Gala 2018:

Fariba Davoodi and the 'Avaye Sharghi' ensemble, including Koroush Babaei, Araz Nayeb Pashai and Sardar Mohammadjani.

Iranian-Canadian pop artist Milad Jalaeian and his band will be playing their own pieces as well as some all-time Persian favourites.

If you purchased your tickets before January 11th, 2018 and you have any concerns regarding the above-mentioned changes in the program, please contact us at [email protected]. We apologize for any inconvenience. However, we believe these changes were necessary in light of recent circumstances. We will offer a full refund until January 18, 2018 to anyone who purchased tickets on or before the date of this announcement: January 11, 2018.

Student Tickets

With the generous donation of our supporters, we are able to offer discounted tickets for students at $75 per ticket. Students tickets are not available online. To purchase your student tickets, please call Mohsen at 416-832-9851 or email [email protected] You need to have a valid Canadian or Iranian student ID to purchase a student ticket.

Ticket Prices Will Remain $150

While we have made changes to the program, ticket prices remain at $150. Tickets will not be available at the door and, similar to last year, we expect the event to be sold out. Please purchase your tickets as soon as possible.
