Here is an announcement from the ICC Board regarding the upcoming AGM:
We would like to inform you that Ms. Mehrdokht Hadi, Ms. Pantea Jaffari, and Mr. Mahboob Bolandi have kindly agreed to serve on the Election Board of the Iranian Canadian Congress this year. The board of directors is working with them to hand over the necessary information and documents so that they can hold the election on May 15. You can reach them by e-mail at: [email protected]
Moreover, due to concerns raised by several board members and the members of the election board, the board of directors of ICC has decided to call off the plans for an online election this year. Therefore, this year’s election will only happen on the day of the AGM on May 15 this year.
Reminder: This Sunday (May 8, 2016) the ICC board of directors is organizing a Q&A session for the board candidates. Please join us this Sunday from 2:30-5PM at Council Chamber, North York Civic Centre. Note that this session is organized by the board of directors and the election board has no responsibility regarding this event.
