We stand today with heavy hearts mourning the lives lost in the recent earthquake in Iran. The lives lost and heartbreaking images of the victims of the earthquake have left millions of Iranian worldwide in agonizing pain.
Let us unite together on Monday November 20th, 2017 at 7PM at North York Civic Centre, Council Chamber (5100 Yonge Street). We will gather to raise donation for registered charities that are helping the victims of the earthquake and to show our support for our fellow Iranians in Kermanshah and the impacted region.
DONATIONS
Since the first hours after the earthquake happened in Iran the ICC executives have reached out to several organizations to figure out the best possible ways for Iranian-Canadians to donate and support the victims of the earthquake in Iran. The ICC only works with registered Canadian charities that are helping the earthquake victims through their partnering NGOs and charities in Iran. Here you can find information about Canadian Charities we will donate the proceeds of the event to. If you cannot make it to our event on Monday, please consider donating to these charities.
