The 2017-2018 Massey College Iranian Series invites distinguished academic talent to explore a multiplicity of topics on Iranian history, art, and culture, to help better understand the dynamics between Iran and Canada today. The series will also feature events celebrating Iranian cinema, visual arts, and culinary tradition, which will be open to the university community and the wider public.
The series will host its inaugural event on the evening of January 19th, 2017 with a screening of the 2007 documentary, ‘Tehran Children,’ followed by a discussion about the 1943 Tehran Conference and Iran’s role in shaping post-war settlement.
