The Iranian Canadian Congress is delighted to be presenting the first of its Community Roundtable Sessions on Sunday, November 5th 2017, at Room 3 of the North York Civic Center.
Session 1: What are the expectations of our community from the Iranian-Canadian elected representatives?
This event will be broken down to three parts:
1. Experts Panel
2. Community/Members Panel
3. Question & Answer
Part 1 (~60min): A number of community experts and professionals will be invited as panellists to speak in regards to the topic of the session. The time allocated for this part will be divided equally between the panellists.
Part 2 (~60min): Five interested community members will be given 10 minutes each to provide their comments, questions, or concerns with respect to the topic of the session. At the end, 10 minutes will be reserved and divided between the speakers equally to share their closing remarks or comments with respect to fellow speakers' comments.
** Speakers in part two of the session are required to submit a summary (max 500 words) of their comments to the session's facilitator. The facilitator will make sure the comments are on topic, and follows the format of the session. Please send your request to speak as a panelist to [email protected]. Presentations can be in Farsi or English.
The Public Relations Department of the Iranian Canadian Congress will publish a complete version of the videos within one week after the session and publish it on the Youtube channel of the ICC. Should individuals attending wish not to be recorded, they can inform us via email: [email protected] prior to the event, or at any time during the event.
