During recent months we have been working on cases of many Iranian students in Canada (mainly graduate students studying in Canadian universities or recent grads from Canadian universities) whose applications for Permanent Residency (PR) have been stuck in the background check stage for an extended period of time. During this work we have also heard of many outland Iranian PR applicants and Iranians in Canada with PR status applying for Canadian Citizenship who have been facing extended delays for similar reasons.

Please note that by signing up on this form you provide the ICC consent to share your information privately with responsible officials in the Canadian Ministry of Immigration for the purpose of following up on your cases.
