Campaign: Iranian Canadian Vote (IC Vote)

Join us to help strengthen our community's voice in Canada.

With 7 months left until the next federal election, the Iranian Canadian Congress is busy making sure the views of Iranian-Canadians are represented in the upcoming election -- and we need your support!

With a population over 300,000 nationwide, the participation of Iranian-Canadians in the election is crucial. Our analysis of past election results shows that Iranian-Canadian votes can be decisive in dozen of important ridings across the country, especially in the key provinces of Ontario, British Columbia, Quebec and Alberta.

It's only through voting and participation in the elections that we will be able to protect the interests of our community and can ensure that political parties listen to our demands and care about our community.

The ICC's plan for the upcoming election is:

Step 1: Iranian-Canadians Election Platform: Developing a platform of priorities and issues that are important for Iranian Canadians through public consultation with members and supporters of the ICC and the community at large.

Step 2: Communicating the priorities of the ICC with all Canadian political parties.

Step 3: Raising awareness in our community about the upcoming election and the importance of their participation.

Step 4: Get-Out-the-Vote (GOTV) in the weeks leading to the federal election in October 2019. Our focus will be on ensuring that Iranian-Canadians, especially in key ridings, come out and vote.

How can you help this campaign:

1. We have launched a campaign to raise $20,000 that will be dedicated for the IC Vote campaign. Use the form on this page to donate to us and encourage your friends and family to donate as well: www.iccongress.ca/ICvote

Your donation will help us to organize events, prepare and distribute educational materials and launch a digital campaign to raise awareness about the election. We will organize and mobilize in at least three provinces: Ontario, British Columbia, and Quebec.

2. Join our IC Vote team as a volunteer using this form.
