Request to establish offices for consular services for Iranian Canadians

Request to establish offices for consular services for Iranian Canadians
Since the Harper government broke diplomatic ties with Iran, members of the Iranian-Canadian community have been struggling to receive consular services. With federal election around the corner, it is more important than ever that we band together as community and voice our concerns. Sign this petition to ask your officials to establish consular services in Iran and Canada respectively, and bring this forward with the incoming government.
Using this simple link prepared by Iranian Canadian Congress (ICC) you can send an email for your federal parliament member and urge the incoming Government to initiate talks with the Iranian government regarding consular services, despite the absence of diplomatic relations. ‏With the 2021 Federal Election scheduled for September 20th, we hope that Canadian Government can resolve this long-standing issue of Consular services for our community in Canada.

As an Iranian-Canadian I expect Canadian government to facilitate consular service for our community.
