Policy Advisers
Alireza Ahmadian is a Vancouver-based political consultant and commentator. In addition to writing for different forums, such as Foreign Policy Blogs and BBC Websites, he has appeared on different media including BBC World News and BBC Persian TV to discuss world affairs. Ahmadian has a Master of Arts in International Affairs and Diplomacy from the School of Oriental and African Studies-University of London and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of British Columbia.
Navid Hassibi is a Founding Director of the Ottawa-based Council on International Policy and a Non-Resident Fellow with the Nuclear Security Working Group at the George Washington University. Hassibi frequently provides analysis on international affairs. His work has been published in the Guardian and the Huffington Post, among other outlets.
Myer Siemiatycki is a Professor in the Department of Politics and Public Administration at Ryerson University, which he served as Chair from 1991 to 1996. Myer is a frequent media commentator on political matters and has been active on numerous political issues, including Permanent Resident voting in Ontario municipalities.
