انتشار گزارش حمله به تاسیسات هسته‌ای نطنز در ایران، یکی دیگر از اقدام‌های تخریبی جنگ‌افروزان برای سنگ‌اندازی در مسیر تلاش‌های دیپلماتیک ایران و کشورهای ۵ + ۱ در وین است که در زمینه احیای توافق‌نامه هسته‌ای ایران (برجام) در حال مذاکره هستند.
این حمله‌های تروریستی نه تنها تهدیدی جدی برای صلح و امنیت منطقه خاورمیانه است، بلکه می‌تواند باعث ایجاد فاجعه انسانی و زیست‌محیطی گسترده ناشی از آلودگی مواد هسته‌ای شود و حیات میلیون‌ها جاندار در این منطقه را در معرض خطر جدی و نابودی قرار دهد.
کنگره ایرانیان کانادا از دولت کانادا می‌خواهد که همچنان از تلاش‌های دیپلماتیک برای احیای برجام و پیشبرد دیپلماسی در منطقه حمایت کند و تمامی ابزارهای قانونی موجود برای جلوگیری از افزایش تنش و درگیری‌های نظامی احتمالی در منطقه را به‌کار بگیرد. زیرا چنین بحران‌هایی می‌تواند بر زندگی ایرانیان کانادا در ایران و کانادا تاثیر منفی مستقیم بگذارد.
ICC Statement's Regarding the Attack on Iran's Natanz Nuclear Site
The reported attack on Iran Natanz nuclear site is another sabotage attempt by warmongers to undermine diplomatic efforts by Iran and P5+1 in Vienna to revive the Iran Nuclear Deal (JCPOA) and push the Middle East into another unnecessary conflict. These illegal attacks do not only pose a serious threat to peace and security in an already volatile region but can also potentially cause humanitarian catastrophes, putting people’s lives and environment at great risk.
Iranian Canadian Congress calls on the Canadian government to continue to support the diplomatic efforts to revive JCPOA and use all diplomatic means to prevent further escalations and military confrontation in the region that could directly impact Iranian Canadians in Iran and Canada.
