Here is a statement from the ICC on the attack on Saye Sky:

The Iranian Canadian Congress was deeply saddened to learn that a member of our community was attacked in an apparent hate crime in Toronto on July 15th, 2018. Saye Sky was subjected to a brutal transphobic attack due to his gender identity. The ICC has reached out to Saye and offered its support. We call on law enforcement officials to stand against this hateful attack and apprehend and punish those responsible.
