Here is an announcement form the ICC Board: 

Dear Members of the Iranian Canadian Congress, 

As part of the notice of AGM and in compliance with the ICC bylaws we have requested any member interested to run for the ICC board to provide us with the required nomination documents. Some of the nominees did not provide the required documents by the nomination deadline and requested an extension. To accommodate this request the Board of Directors decided to provide all nominees extension till end of April 3rd, 2018. Unfortunately we are still missing documentation from 3 of the potential nominees who have expressed their intention to run in the upcoming ICC Board Elections. Without documentation it is impossible for us to ensure compliance of their nomination with the legal requirements in the ICC bylaws. In good faith and in an effort to increase participation in the election process we are providing a final extension. We have already communicated with the 3 nominees who have yet to provide their documents that the final deadline for complete their nomination process and submit all required documents is end of tomorrow April 5th, 2018.
