At the request of the Iranian Canadian Congress (ICC) and based on the emergency appeal from the International Federation of Red Cross, the Canadian Red Cross has launched an emergency appeal to raise donations for flood victims in Iran. These donations will help the Red Cross teams to provide shelter, basic needs and livelihood support in response to this disaster.
Please follow these two simple steps to help the flood victims in Iran through the Canadian Red Cross:
Step 1: Click here to donate to the Canadian Red Cross dedicated fund for the Iran floods
Simply use the form available here on the website of the Canadian Red Cross to donate to the dedicated fund created for helping the flood victims in Iran. All your donations go directly to the Canadian Red Cross.
Step 2: Click here to join the Iranian Canadian Aid Committee to help with raising donations for the flood victims in Iran:
A group of members and volunteers of the ICC have created an independent, non-profit and non-political committee to help in reaching out to the community and raising donations for the Canadian Red Cross Iran Floods Appeal. Their aim is to help raise $200,000 for the Canadian Red Cross for the flood victims in Iran. The long term goal of the Iranian Canadian Aid Committee (IC AID) is to establish a network across Canada that can mobilize our community to help Iranians at times of need and emergency such as natural disasters. If you are interested to join their team and help them raise donations for the flood victims, please visit their website at ICAID.CA and register through their sign up page.
